Timberlock Resort for Dogs

Who We Are

For over 25 years we have been servicing the needs of pets and their families in and out of the Sudbury area. We take great pride in and are thankful for our clients that have entrusted us with their pets; they have allowed us to work full time at something we not only love but are passionate about.

Our entry into the world of dogs started with an out of control German shepherd purchased as a wedding present from a friend. She led us into the world of dog training, showing, and breeding. Of course it didn't stop there. Many of our German shepherd people couldn't find a suitable kennel to leave their dogs in - so we would help out by accommodating their dogs in our home. The rest is history, a new facility ensued, that offered all good things doggy and we haven't looked back since.

Timberlock Bed & Biscuit

The kennel is located in Blezard Valley just minutes from Sudbury. At our full service facility we provide a premium stay for dogs while giving families' peace of mind, knowing their pet is cared for as if it were our own.

The boarding facility has been designed with your dogs comfort, health, and safety in mind. The whole building is warmed with radiant in floor heat. Toasty warm in the winter and comfortably cool in the summer. For safety and stress reduction there are solid dividers between runs and no opposing runs. This keeps pets quieter, less stressed, and more comfortable. All indoor runs have an attached outdoor area that is totally closed in, protecting them for the elements. Our Boarding area has only 10 runs, keep this in mind when booking holidays and weekends, we fill up very quickly.

What To Expect When Boarding Your Dog

Our spacious runs, 4x4 and 5x5 for larger dogs, have an individual attached run outside. The solid 4 ft. dividers discourage fence fighting and bullying, as well as enhance your dog's sense of security. However they still know their neighbors are there so they don't feel totally alone.

Dogs are routinely let in and out during the day. Wake up is usually at 7:00 am and last call at night for a potty break is between 9-10 pm, followed by a bedtime snack.

What to Bring

We recommend that you bring your own dogs food. This reduces digestive upset. You may also bring familiar treats or chew toys, and we will feed them during your dogs stay. If your pet requires medication please label clearly with instructions and we will administer free of charge.
You may also want to bring your dogs bed. An older bed or blanket is recommended, just in case it gets lost or damaged.
